Parking Garden Updates

*Effective September 2, 2008, parking at the Queens Botanical Garden will be extremely limited due to the start of construction of the most environmentally-friendly Parking Garden in NYC!

There will be a temporary Garden parking lot available and its entrance will be on the corner of Blossom Avenue and Crommelin Street.  This parking lot will not provide access to into the Garden so visitors will have to exit the parking lot and walk along the sidewalk to reach either the Main Street or College Point Boulevard entrance in order to enter the Garden.

Ample street parking is available on the perimeter of the Garden; please be sure to read and follow all applicable signs and pay the meter as required.  In this time of transition, visitors to the Queens Botanical Garden are encouraged to consider car pooling or using public transportation instead of using the limited parking facilities.   If you have an event planned at the garden during the Fall of 2008 or the Spring of 2009, please feel free to give us a call to discuss alternative parking arrangements. The number to call is (718) 886-3800 ext. 204.

Farmer's Market will continue to operate, however there will be no access to or from it into the garden.  To visit the Farmer's Market, please enter the temporary parking lot on the corner of Blossom Avenue and Crommelin Street.

Again, we thank you for your patience with this exciting project.
