2011 Past Performances:

Sofia Rei and her International Ensemble
Saturday, July 23 at 6:45pm

Argentine American singer Sofia Rei performs a Latin American program with her International Ensemble. Beginning at 6pm, food will be available for purchase, provided by Jackson Heights music hotspot/restaurant D'Antigua. Concert-goers can enjoy their meal on the Terrace or as a picnic on the Oak Allee.

Korean Traditional Music and Dance Institute of New York
Saturday, August 13 at 6:45pm

This lively performance features drumming, dance and music of Korea, showcasing both classical and folkloric traditional.  Beginning at 6pm, Korean food from Kum Gang San will be available to purchase on the Terrace.

Chinese Music, Dance, and Opera

Saturday, September 3 at 6:45pm, doors open at 6pm

Please note: the performance will be held in our Auditorium.  Seating limited to 100 on a first come, first served basis.

In partnership with the Flushing Development Center, artists from the New York Chinese Cultural Center will present a program of lively folk dances and lead an interactive lesson in the colorful Ribbon Dance for children.  Music on traditional instruments and a Kung Fu demonstration by the famed Monkey King of Chinese opera will also be featured.  Food will be available for purchase on the Terrace beginning at 6pm from No.1 East Restaurant aka People and People.

North American Hindu Temple Society Performers
Saturday, October 1 at 6:45pm

Enjoy music and dance from India, including a full-force choir, intricate and colorful dancing, and a fusion instrumental musical extravaganza to complete the evening.  Beginning at 6pm, food from the Temple Kitchen will be available for purchase on the Terrace.
