Harvest Fest & Pumpkin Patch Schedule

  • 11am to noon: Bird & Nature Walk (meet at the Visitor & Administration Building Terrace)
  • 11:30am to 12:30pm and 1 to 2:30pm: Live music by the Lonesome Moonlight String Band – Main Stage
  • 1pm: Story Telling & Book Signing by Demetra Tsavaris-Lecourezos -- Arboretum
  • 2 to 3pm: Garden Tour with QBG Executive Director, Susan Lacerte (meet at the Visitor & Administration Building Terrace)
  • 3 to 4pm and 4:30 to 5:30pm: Live music by Pin Ups, the All-American British Band – Main Stage

Fun throughout the afternoon:

  • 11am to 5:30pm: Bouncy Rides ($3*)
  • 11am to 4 pm: Old-fashioned Children's Games in the Cherry Circle
  • 11-4pm: Spinning Wheel Demos by Looliemom Fiber Arts on the Oak Allée
  • 11am to 4pm: Compost Demonstration - learn how to harvest, sift, and apply indoor and outdoor compost with the NYC Compost Project in Queens
  • 11am to 4pm: Spinning wheel demonstrations by Adele Michelsen.  Try your hand at carding wool or making a yarn bracelet, and see how different fibers are spun into yarn.
  • 11am to 6pm: Stroll through our Mini Maize Maze in the back meadow
  • 11am to 6pm: Souvenir photos available by Image Makers (additional fee applies)
  • Noon to 4pm: Face painting by Silly Cheeks sponsored by Flushing Bank ($4*)
  • Noon to 4pm: Pumpkin Patch sponsored by Amerasia Bank ($5/pumpkin, while supplies last*)
  • Noon to 4pm: Petting Zoo (free to pet, animal food is $2*)
  • Noon to 4pm: Pony Rides in the Arboretum ($6/per ride*). Last ride at 3:30pm
  • Noon to 4pm: Children's Activity Table sponsored by Flushing Bank
  • Noon to 6pm: Beer Tent
  • QBG Marketplace with seasonal treats
  • Food vendors
  • Craft vendors on the Oak Allée

*Tickets will be sold until 3:30pm or while supplies last.
