Arbor Fest Schedule

Event Schedule:

  • 11am to noon: Bird & Nature Walk (meet at the Visitor & Administration Building Terrace)
  • 11am to 12:30pm: 今天的研討會 有機肥使您的花園更美麗  - Visitor and Administration Building  (Outdoor Composting Workshop in Mandarin in the Visitor & Administration Building Meeting Room)

  • 11:30am to noon: Fresh Meadows Poets on the Main Stage
  • Noon to 12:30pm: Tai Chi Demonstration on the Main Stage
  • 12:30 to 2:30pm: Art Workshop on the Visitor & Administration Building Terrace with exhibiting artist Iandry Randriamandroso
  • 1 to 1:45pm: Music by No Regrets on the Main Stage
  • 1 to 4pm: Face painting and Balloon Art by Hiccups the Clown at the Cherry Circle ($2/person)
  • 1:45 to 2pm: Flushing High School Kung Fu Demonstration
  • 2 to 3pm: Garden Tour with QBG Executive Director, Susan Lacerte, and David McMaster of Bartlett Tree Experts (meet at the Visitor & Administration Building Terrace)
  • 2 to 3pm: 今天的研討會 有機肥使您的花園更美麗 - Visitor and Administration Building (Indoor Composting Workshop in Mandarin in the Visitor & Administration Building Meeting Room)

  • 2 to 2:45pm: Music by No Regrets on the Main Stage
  • 3 to 3:45pm: Music by No Regrets on the Main Stage

Fun throughout the afternoon:

  • 11am to 4pm: Old-fashioned Children's Games on the Cherry Circle (additional fee applies)
  • 11am to 4pm: Compost Demonstration: learn how to harvest, sift, and apply indoor and outdoor compost with the NYC Compost Project in Queens
  • Noon to 4pm: QBG Petting Zoo at the Cherry Circle (additional fee for animal feed)
  • Noon to 4pm: TD Bank Craft Table
  • Food vendors and beer tent
  • Craft vendors on the Oak Allée
