The Great Backyard Bird Count Flies to Queens!
Queens Botanical Garden and Local Residents Eye the Skies in National Bird Count

Flushing, NY – January, 2013 – On Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 10:30am, Queens Botanical Garden will welcome local residents to participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count, a census of birds conducted every year by bird-lovers at sites across the country. For the first time, this joint project of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, Bird Studies Canada and the National Audubon Society will also be a worldwide ecological survey.
