Queens Botanical Garden is a magnificent, one-of-a-kind destination for government groups and nonprofits, particularly if your organization is interested in green technology and sustainability.
Our guests appreciate the tranquility and beauty of the Garden’s 39 acres and many specialty gardens. QBG’s revolutionary new Visitor & Administration Center, which recently achieved LEED® platinum status, is the most advanced green building in New York City. Guests love walking on the planted green roof above their meeting space and the free tours of the building’s compost toilets, geothermal heating and cooling system, and graywater recycling.
QBG is conveniently located near LaGuardia Airport, the Mets’ Shea Stadium, and the United States Tennis Association’s sports facilities, and within easy reach of Manhattan by train, subway, or car.
The Garden’s Auditorium accommodates 147 people in theater seating or approximately 65 people for banquet seating. The Conference Room accommodates 45-50 people. And the Staff Meeting Room handles approximately 15 people.
