Guided Garden Tours

Recommended for all grades.

To help you get the most out of your visit, QBG instructors are available to guide tours for classes Pre-K to 12 through garden exhibits that provide unique learning opportunities. Botanical displays, which vary from year to year, provide a showcase of environmental, botanical, and cultural themes. Our permanent gardens include the Bee Garden with working hives, as well as the Woodland, Herb, and Perennial Gardens plus our new Urban Farm.

PEAK PRICING (April 1-Oct. 31): $150 per class
OFF PEAK PRICING (Nov. 1-March 31): $1
25 per class

Enhance your visit by adding a seed planting or a botanical craft ($1 per student).

Green Building Tours

Explore cities of the future by touring a modern-day prototype of green architecture.  Visit our award-winning Green Building that uses sunlight and the Earth's energy for power, smart materials for sustainable harvesting and occupant health, and techniques that embrace existing local ecosystems.  The Building and the Sustainable Landscapes surrounding it are leading the way for the transformation of NYC into a healthier, more environmentally responsible city.

Self Guided Tours

These tours offer an excellent opportunity for groups to explore Queens Botanical Garden at their own pace and investigate the specific exhibit areas that complement their classroom studies. To enrich the experience, a map and suggested activities will be provided with pre-trip information.  Self Guided Tours are available Tuesdays through Sundays with advanced registration; pre-payment is required.              

$45 per tour if you register in advance. Without advance registration you will be entited to the group rate of 20% off for groups of 10 or more.
