  • NYC Compost Project in Queens - QBG is a proud host of this city-wide program that offers training, demonstrations and a Master Composter Certificate.
  • QBG-TV -- learn more about QBG on our You Tube channel!
  • MillionTreesNYC -- a citywide, public-private program with an ambitious goal: to plant and care for one million new trees across the City's five boroughs over the next decade.
  • Grow to Learn NYC - plenty of school garden resources, including mini grants and garden-based classroom activities.

  • GreenThumb -- programming and material support to over 500 community gardens in New York City. Workshops, which are the access point for supplies, are held every month of the year, covering gardening basics to more advanced farming and community organizing topics. 
  • Whole Systems Integrated Sustainable Design for Education (WISE) -- a step by step program to educate students about sustainability at their school, ending in a hands-on project.  The website provides material for students to observe what resources their school has, research a sustainability project, and carry out an action on their school to improve how resources are used.

  • Science Formative Assessments - We love formative assessments!  QBG's Professional Development staff makes sure to incorporate them in all of our lessons and this book is a terrific guide.\
