July 2007 Construction Update
Planting continues around the Visitor & Administration Building, including the new Plants in Community collection. The Green Roof planting has thrived in its first month, and elegant bluestone chip paths now connect the different parts of the landscape.
Work on the interior walls and ceiling of the Auditorium is complete. Finishes and woodwork installation will begin soon, among the final steps before this area can be opened.
This month, the Garden's original 1964 Administration Building will be torn down, to be replaced by the water channel and Entry Plaza.
