October 2005 Construction Update

The steel frame of the Visitor/Administration Building has been assembled and concrete floor and ceiling planks are being put into place. The foundation for the Auditorium has been poured, and in October its walls will rise above grade.

The Horticulture/Maintenance Building is nearing completion. Queens Botanical Garden staff will move into their new offices and workspaces in October.
